Scope of Work

QMC were engaged to undertake the Naremburn Local Centre Streetscape Upgrade – jointly funded by Willoughby City Council and the Department of Infrastructure. The shared space surrounded by thriving local businesses has been transformed with a new paved area for leasing and outdoor dining, landscaping, and a brick and concrete retaining wall featuring greenery and shaded seating by a metal structure.

The upgrades also include a new concrete pad with a bike station, power for community events, redesigned disabled parked, a paved median island near the crossing for increased pedestrian safety and a new cycleway on Quiamong Street.

The project has increased access for the public (pedestrians, cyclists and bus passengers) and enhanced community facilities for locals and to create higher economic activity to support local business.
