Steven Commisso (Managing Director): Steven Commisso has over 27 years’ experience in the construction industry, and has been Managing Director of QMC Group since the Company commenced in 1995. Steven has been front and centre in driving the controlled growth of the Business, and overseeing the completion of many successful projects in NSW, Queensland, the ACT and overseas.
Steven measures and tracks his and QMC’s performance based on repeat business.
Steven remains part of the Senior Management Team, and collectively they are excited by the continued growth and future opportunities for the Business and its people. The Team is committed to developing our future company leaders and upskilling employees through our in-house program, the FOCUS Initiative.
Steven has driven the development of an in-house communication application called ‘Quiicker’. The application is a real-time intuitive management tool monitoring project information including daily site reports, toolboxes and issue management. This information is often instantaneously shared with our Clients.
Steven prides himself on being honest and personally contactable and approachable for all our business partners, including all Clients and employees.
Mark Kosciuszko (IMS Manager): Mark Kosciuszko joined the Senior Management Team of QMC Group in 2015 as the IMS Manager. He is responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
Mark has a degree in Environmental Science, and has experience in the environmental consulting, waste and civil construction industries. His previous roles include Environmental Consultant, Environment, Quality and Safety Officer and Health, Safety and Environment Systems Coordinator.
Mark endeavours to continue to improve the IMS to make it as user-friendly as possible, in order to ensure its continued effectiveness across the Company.
Lyndon Toh (NSW Manager Civil Infrastructure): Lyndon Toh joined QMC Group in 2007 as a Project Engineer, before becoming a Project Manager in 2009, and the NSW Manager Civil Infrastructure in 2013.
Lyndon has a degree in Civil Engineering, and has managed numerous challenging and successful projects in NSW for QMC Group. Since 2013, Lyndon and his Team have rolled out greater than 26,000m2 of streetscape and road projects.
As part of the Senior Management Team and the Focus Initiative, Lyndon also remains focused on the growth of the Company, employee development and repeat business.
George Apokis (NSW Manager Construction Works): George Apokis commenced work at QMC Group in 2005, and has been the NSW Manager for Construction Works since 2013.
George has over 31 years’ experience in construction, which he calls on in delivering successful projects. George is very competent in traditional civil works. His core strength lies in extremely complex projects of a “surgical construction” nature that involve staging of demolition, underpinning, excavation and concrete structures.
As part of the Senior Management Team and the Focus Initiative, George focuses on nurturing ‘the old school’ Site Supervisor and repeat business.
Mark Loftus (QLD Manager): Mark Loftus commenced work at QMC Group in 2005 as a Site Supervisor, before becoming a Project Manager in 2007, and QMC’s Qld Manager in 2012.
Mark has a diploma in Civil Engineering and over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry across many different sectors including mining, civil and industrial construction, commercial and residential.
Mark has a proven track record in repeatedly delivering the most complex of projects throughout both NSW and Qld for QMC Group.
As part of the Senior Management Team and the Focus Initiative, Mark’s business unit is committed to growing the Queensland division and repeat business.
