This Project was within a security sensitive area of the RG Tanna Coal Terminal. The Project consisted of installing a scaffold to all four sides and underneath two of the dolphins on the terminal wharf.
Once scaffolding was installed, the concrete surface was inspected by the Client for integrity. Following this the areas requiring repair were blasted with ultra high pressure water to remove the damaged concrete down to the reinforcement. Reinforcement was replaced as required, and the areas formed up and re-poured with a special concrete mix.
The sound sections of the dolphin were slotted using specialised equipment and a titanium anode ribbon was installed.
