‘Greening and Leisure’ projects involve the provision of green and leisure spaces for the public in the City of Sydney LGA.
Some projects include:
Danks Street, Waterloo NSW: Streetscape upgrade to Danks Street Precinct, with over 750m2 of garden beds installed across four streets.
Murray Street and Gadigal Avenue, Waterloo NSW: Raised intersection upgrade to provide a shared zone for pedestrians and traffic. Included heavy duty vehicular pavement, bollards and soft landscaping.
Reserve Street, Beaconsfield NSW: Planted medians and footpath extensions to enhance the streetscape and slow traffic along Reserve Street. Included upgrades at two intersections along Reserve Street, and over 100m of planted medians.
