Scope of Work

The Dublin Spire (Monument of Light) was a monument commissioned by Dublin City Council as part of an initiative to launch the revitalise O’Connell St. The Dublin Spire is an elongated cone of diameter 3 m at the base, narrowing to 15 cm at the top approximately 121m high.

QMC Group completed over 550 m3 of excavation and shoring, concrete and reinforcement works for the footings, and the installation of holding down bolts. This Project revitalised the Dublin CBD and created an Irish landmark that is recognisable throughout Europe and the world.
