Scope of Work

The works on Heart of Drummoyne were public domain upgrades to two separate sites – Formosa Street and Lyons Road, Drummoyne and Church Street & Victoria Road, Drummoyne.
QMC reconfigured the roadways into open shared spaces for the community and made significant storm water improvements.

The works involved core-filled block wall retaining walls clad with bricks, off-form class two concrete retaining walls, concrete unit pavers and lighting upgrades to pedestrian lights, down lights, bench seat LEDs and a new MSB.

QMC also installed steel shade structures with artistic shade sails, pergolas with balustrades and mesh wiring for climbers, new street furniture including ping pong table, planted new street trees and shrubs and erected a play structure.
