Scope of Work

The works on Great North Road were an extension of the Stage 1, performed by another contractor. Stage 2 works carried out by QMC Group were to Transport for NSW standards and under supervision of an Independent Project Verifier.

The scope involved installation of 252m of stormwater and 13 pits, reconstruction of rigid and flexible road pavement, new median islands, and traffic signal modifications.

More than 3000m2 of new coloured concrete footpaths and over 1600m2 of new paved footpaths were constructed without disruption the busy street shops and required the installation of new electrical infrastructure, new street furniture including precast seating, planting of new street trees and shrubs and upgrades to stormwater infrastructure.
