Scope of Work

This project was undertaken to increase the strength of the Auckland and Eulielah Creek Bridges through breaking out and repairing the spalled concrete, treating the underlying reinforcement, installing stainless steel pile encasements around the existing piles, and using high strength fibre wrapping on the head stocks and abutments. QMC also installed a new waterproof bridge deck and handrails for increased safety. The works were completed to increase the certified loading of these bridges to 44 tonnes.
