Scope of Work

QMC Group was engaged to upgrade this local road which required demolition of existing footpaths, kerb and gutter and road speed humps followed by construction of new and extended concrete footpath along the Bronte Cutting.

QMC installed new parking meter devices and parking sensors, asphalt mill and re-sheeting followed by new line marking, signage, and calming traffic devices.

Concurrently, we undertook works in the Bronte Village ensuring minimal impact to local businesses, the community (visitors and residents) and commuters.

Working adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, amongst public transport, retail and hospitality trade deliveries, constant vehicular and pedestrian traffic and in multiple return stages at day and nights, QMC Group completed demolition of pavements including base courses and kerb and gutter, excavated to required depth for new garden bed/tree planting and installed new stormwater works. Finishes works comprised reconstruction of the existing bus terminus, installation of timber seatings on retaining walls, installation of pavers, tactile indicators, street furniture and fixtures, installation of line marking and signage and finally asphalt road reinstatement (mill and re-sheet).
