Scope of Work

The works at Peace Park involved a comprehensive park renewal including speed reduction and alignment measures (chicanes, bollards, and fences) to slow bike movements and encourage the use of the shared pathways.

Upgrades to site drainage incorporated sustainable water management practices and QMC Group supplied and installed a new play structure and swing set, installed soft fall as well as natural play areas, laid new permeable paving to Buckland Street footpath around the existing street trees and improved lighting. In addition, we installed new brick paving to paths, street furniture including benches, bins and bubblers, new turf areas and new street trees and shrubs.
